Bill English was born and raised in Honeoye Falls, New York and began acting at an early age. He kept busy throughout middle school and high school, competing in swimming, track, wrestling, baseball, and cross country running. His true passion, however, was for the stage. He performed in school and at various regional theatres in the northeast. Following high school, Bill attended the prestigious North Carolina School of the Arts acting conservatory. After graduation, he moved to New York City and quickly started to make his mark in the NY theatre scene. His first Broadway credit came in 2004, appearing on stage in "20th Century" with Alec Baldwin and Anne Heche, directed by Tony-award winner Walter Bobbie. Bill network tested for Saturday Night Live following "Twentieth Century" and has recently been touring the festival circuit promoting the independent film "The Beach Party at the Threshold of Hell" Bill landed several national commercials for Raisin Bran Crunch, Coke Zero, FedEx, Dunkin' Donuts, and T-Mobile. Bill currently portrays the caveman "Joel" in the upcoming series "Cavemen", premiering Oct. 2 at 8pm on ABC. He resides in Los Angeles, CA.
