Syfy Slates Dushku's Graves, New Corn for September
added by newsBotRemember that Eliza Dushku movie about a group of surfers finding a cursed board game that claims a life whenever played? It seems like we've been reporting about Open Graves for a couple years now. That might be because we have. We last reported on it this past February, quoting Dushku herself as being unsure if or when the film would see the light of day. How does September 19th on Syfy sound?
For those of you dying to see Eliza Dushku wet and in peril after playing a board game made from the skin and bones of a witch executed during the Spanish Inquisition, set your Tivo's and DVR's for Saturday night, September 19th, at 9/8 Central.

Review: 'Dollhouse' Season One on DVD
added by newsBotThere are television creators who are placed under the microscope every time they produce something new, hoping it will generate the same pop buzz and ratings success of their previous series. Comic-Con 2009: Joss Whedon Talks 'Dollhouse' Season 2 and The Missing Episode
added by newsBotFirst off, let me say that Joss Whedon is as clever in person as he is via scriptwriting. First and foremost, Whedon and Eliza Dushku had one very important message for their fans: "We're here because of you." Neither hid the fact that Dollhouse was very close to being canceled. So close, both admitted to being surprised when it was renewed although they were extremely humbled by the overwhelming support of the diehard Dollhouse fans. If you remember, BuddyTV was the main force behind the web/twitter revolution.
Joss Whedon even joked that Dollhouse was renewed because he found some really talented people to "fudge" the numbers. Enron maybe? He also alluded to TiVo/DVR viewers being the deciding factor in Dollhouse's renewal. That's not new news to most, but it's good news for the upcoming season. If Fox keeps Dollhouse in the Friday night slot, nightly numbers won't
