Jonathan Francis Kimmel 4 November 1976, Brooklyn, New York, USA Jon started his career in television as a production assistant at The Jim Henson Company in New York, and soon after moved to Los Angeles to work on shows like "South Park" (1997), "The Man Show" (1999) and "Viva Variety" (1997).He continued to move up in the production world, working on shows like "The Chris Rock Show" (1997) and "Crank Yankers" (2002). Jon's first writing job was as a Staff Writer on "That's My Bush!" (2001) for Comedy Central, and since has written for "South Park" (1997), "Drawn Together" (2004) and served as head writer for "Crank Yankers" (2002) and "The Andy Milonakis Show" (2005) (of which he also co-EPs).In his spare time, Jon has also managed to get several roles as an actor in such shows as "Life with Bonnie" (2002), "That's My Bush!" (2001), "Crank Yankers" (2002) and he has a small role in Disney's The Wild (2006).

Kanye West: Puppetmaster
added by newsBotKanye West is stringing along a new television show! The rapper is teaming up with Comedy Central to create a puppet show that is being described as "hip-hop meets the Muppets!" A pilot episode has already been filmed and features new music from the hip-hop mogul, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The working title of the show is called "Alligator Boots" and "South Park" writer Jon Kimmel is helping to produce the project. Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla's production company, Jackhole Productions, is the production company for the show. They are also responsible for Comedy Central's other puppet show "Crank Yankers." If picked up, "Alligator Boots" would make its debut in 2009.
