Matthew Langford Perry 19 August 1969, Williamstown, Massachusetts, USA Born in Williamstown, Massachusetts, Matthew Perry was raised in Ottawa, Ontario, where he became a top-ranked junior tennis player in Canada. However, after moving to Los Angeles at the age of 15 to live with his father (actor John Bennett Perry), he became more interested in acting. In addition to performing in several high school stage productions, he remained an avid tennis player. Perry ranked 17th nationally in the junior singles category and third in the doubles category. Upon graduating from high school, Perry intended to enroll at the University of Southern California. However, when he was offered a leading role on the television series, "Second Chance" (1987), he seized the opportunity to begin his acting career.Perry appeared in the hit comedy film The Whole Nine Yards (2000), as the neighbor of a hit man played by Bruce Willis. His other feature film credits include _Fools Rush In (1997)_, A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon (1988), She's Out of Control (1989) and Parallel Lives (1994) (TV). He also co-starred with Chris Farley in the buddy comedy Almost Heroes (1998) and in the romantic comedy, Three to Tango (1999), opposite Neve Campbell. Perry currently resides in Los Angeles. He enjoys playing ice hockey and softball in his spare time.

Moviegoers 'Obsessed' with Beyonce

The thriller stars Beyonce as the wife of a successful asset manager (Idris Elba) whose co-worker (Ali Larter) develops an unhealthy obsession and begins to stalk him, turning their lives upside down. In second place was Zac Efron's '17 Again,' which brought in $11.7 million over the weekend after debuting at No. 1 last week. The movie stars Efron as the teenage version of Mike O'Donnell, a thirty something husband and father played by Matthew Perry. The street brawling flick 'Fighting' -- starring Channing Tatum and Terrence Howard -- debuted in third with an estimated $11.4 million. Ali Larter, Beyonce's "Obsessed" Tops Box Office Weekend
added by newsBotAli Larter and Beyonce Knowles' fans have kept Zefron loyalists behind. The girls' "Obsessed" finished first in the three-day box office weekend, bumping Zac Efron's "17 Again" in the second place.
The thriller, which also stars "The Office" actor Idris Elba, dominated the whole show with a surprising .5 million gross, while Efron and Matthew Perry's "17 Again" still fared fairly well, adding another .7 million in its haul.
Another new Friday release was Channing Tatum and Terrence Howard's "Fighting" and Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr.'s "The Soloist," bowing at 3rd and 4th place respectively.
Still in the top 10 is Disney's tween queen Miley Cyrus' "Hannah Montana: The Movie," which added .4 million in its gross at the 8th place.
