Patrick Joseph Wilson 3 July 1973, Norfolk, Virginia, USA Patrick Wilson has a B.F.A. in Drama from Carnegie-Mellon University. His theater work has produced many nominations and awards. He was nominated for Best Actor in a Musical for The Full Monty, a Drama League Award for Fascinating Rhythm, a Drama Drama League Award for Bright Lights, Big City an Encores nomination for Tenderloin. He had national tours in Carousel (Drama Logue Award winner and L.A. Ovation nomination) and Miss Saigon. Regionally, he has appeared in Sweet Bird of Youth (La Jolla), Ciderhouse Rules (Mark Taper Forum), Romeo and Juliet: The Musical (Ordway), Lucky in the Rain (Goodspeed), Harmony (La Jolla), The Full Monty (Globe).

David Slade to direct "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" for Summit.
added by newsBotSummit Entertainment has announced that David Slade will helm "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," the next film after the upcoming "New Moon" which Chris Weiz is directing. Summit's President of Production Eric Feig announced the decision. Book author Stephenie Meyer stated “I am thrilled that David Slade will be directing Eclipse. He's a visionary filmmaker who has so much to offer this franchise. From the beginning, we've been blessed with wonderful directorial talent for the Twilight Saga, and I'm so happy that Eclipse will be carrying on with that tradition.” Slade is no stranger to tension weaving with his best effort at the helm being 2006's outstanding "Hard Candy" starring Ellen Page and Patrick Wilson. He followed up that with the effective horror "30 Days of Night," a vampire film starring Josh Hartnett and Melissa George. David Slade Announced as Director of ‘The Twilight Saga’s Eclipse’
added by newsBotChicago – A director has been announced for the sequel to “Twilight” and “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon,” as Summit Entertainment made it official today that “30 Days of Night” helmer David Slade would take the director’s chair on “The Twilight Saga’s Eclipse,” already scheduled for release on June 30th, 2010.
Previous rumors about Juan Antonio Bayona (“The Orphanage”) or even Drew Barrymore directing the third film based on the books in Stephenie Meyer’s series were officially put to rest today with an official Summit release.
Stephenie Meyer herself release a quote, saying, “I am thrilled that David Slade will be directing Eclipse. He’s a visionary filmmaker who has so much to offer this franchise. From the beginning, we’ve been blessed with wonderful directorial talent for the Twilight Saga, and I’m so happy that Eclipse will be carrying on with that tradition.”
