Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer composer Ryan Shore is doing the original score for Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever, the sequel to the 2002 horror film directed by Eli Roth and scored by Nathan Barr. The new film is directed by Ti West whose independent horror credits include The Roost and Trigger Man, both featuring scores by Jeff Grace. Cabin Fever 2 is produced by Tonic Films and should come out later this year. Cast members include Rider Strong, Michael Bowen, Giuseppe Andrews and Noah Segan. Ryan Shore has scored several horror films before, including Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer, The Girl Next Door and Headspace.

While we wait for Lionsgate to announce a release date here the States, Ti West's Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever is making some festival rounds across the world. Today the first ever image from the highly anticipated sequel to Eli Roth's breakthrough movie found its way online. Starring Judah Friedlander, Larry Fessenden, Alexi Wasser, Rider Strong, Giuseppe Andrews, Rusty Kelley, Marc Senter, Mark Borchardt, in the sequel, the killer virus comes out of the woods and has a date at the high school prom. Ti West's The House of the Devil is looking for a release later this year from Magnolia Pictures.
