Four more board 'Law Abiding Citizen'
added by newsBotMichael Gambon, Leslie Bibb, Colm Meaney and Theresa Randle have joined F. Gary Gray's upcoming thriller "Law Abiding Citizen." Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx also star.
The film follows a successful assistant D.A. (Butler) who finds himself at the center of a vigilante plot hatched by a traumatized victim of the legal system (Foxx).
After finding out that one of his wife and daughter’s murderers will be set free via a plea bargain, Foxx’s character decides to take revenge against those responsible for the murders and the deal.
Frank Darabont was originally attached to directed the project, but he bowed out and worked on the script with Kurt Wimmer and David Ayer instead. Sheldon Turner recently boarded the project to do some rewriting.
Gambon most recently starred in "Brideshead Revisited." Bibb appeared in "Iron Man" and will next be seen in "Confessions of a Shopaholic." As for Meaney,

'Law Abiding Citizen' Adds Four Cast Members

Now that F. Gary Gray's Law Abiding Citizen is back gearing up for production, The Hollywood Reporter has announced that four new cast members have just signed to star alongside Gerard Butler and Oscar winner Jamie Foxx in the thriller; they are: Michael Gambon, Leslie Bibb (Iron Man), Colm Meaney and Theresa Randle (Bad Boys II).
In Citizen, Butler plays a successful assistant D.A., who finds himself at the center of a plot for revenge hatched by Foxx after he's been screwed by the legal system. When Foxx discovers that one of the men responsible for the death of his wife and daughter is about to go free, he targets everyone who had either something to do with the murder,

Scenes We Love: The Rock
added by newsBotWhenever the furious fanboys take an easy shot at director Michael Bay, I get slightly annoyed. Not because I think Pearl Harbor is underrated (it's junk) or I think Bad Boys 2 is entertaining (it's garbage), but because of one simple opinion: The Rock is the best pure action film since the original Die Hard -- and I consider Die Hard the Gone with the Wind of action flicks. Which would make The Rock sort of like Casablanca, I suppose.
I was always particularly impressed by the opening credits sequence of The Rock, mainly because it summarizes a lot of pertinent plot points in very slick and efficient fashion -- plus it comes with some pretty visuals, a great Hans Zimmer theme, and Ed Harris at his authoritative best. (Have you ever seen an army guy with That many medals??) But what's most interesting is that this credit sequence narrative
