Batman Begins

Introduced at the ABC Upfronts this week, Flash Forward is a new series based on the novel by Robert J. Sawyer.  In the novel, a science experiment at the Cern facility in Switzerland causes the entire human population to black out for approximately two minutes.  During this time, every person experiences a “flash” of their future and actually lives their own future for those two minutes.  Back in the present time, planes fall out of the sky, cars crash and accidents occur as people fall unconscious.
While the book allows people to see themselves twenty years in the future, the series, produced and written by David S. Goyer (co-writer of “Batman Begins” and “The Dark Knight”) and Brannon Braga (”24,” “Star Trek: Enterprise”), allows people to glimpse about five months into their future.  The dilemma for the characters is whether these “flashes” are their destiny, or whether they can change aspects

After hearing Christian Bale's rant on the set of "Terminator Salvation," you would think that the actor is very intense and passionate about his acting. But according to him, it's just the opposite. "I fall asleep on sets all the time. I've done it in the middle of scenes," Bale told GQ magazine. "In 'Batman Begins,' in the first scene I had with Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman, I fell asleep. I was meant to be waking up, so I laid down and just fell asleep." He continued: "I didn't hear 'action' so Michael and Morgan were talking and I was supposed to join in. I woke up with Michael Caine poking me in the ribs, going, 'Look at that! He's bloody fallen asleep.'"

As you may already know, Fox and Marvel want to reboot both the Fantastic Four and Daredevil and it looks like a certain “Starbuck” may be angling to play none other than Typhoid Mary!
Recently, Katee Sackhoff (”Starbuck” on Battlestar Galactica) was seen at Golden Apple Comics in Los Angeles purchasing as many comics featuring Typhoid Mary as possible. Now of course there’s no guarantee that she’ll be playing the pyrokinetic villain, or is even being considered, but it’s a darn good bet she wants to play her!

 
Other actors, actresses and filmmakers have been seen buying a lot of comics which always leads to speculation of their involvement.  For instance, last September we reported that Eva Longoria was seen walking out of Marvel Studios offices with some Avengers comics in her hand, and it was speculated that she would be playing Wasp in The Avengers movie.
