Slammin’ Salmon Pictures and Synopsis
added by newsBotBroken Lizard, the comedy team who created Super Troopers and Beerfest, has started to promote their next movie called The Slammin’ Salmon. Here is the official plot synopsis and a few pictures from the movie thanks to the good people at Collider.
Cleon “Slammin” Salmon (Michael Clarke Duncan), the former Heavyweight Champion of the World, is a tough, crazy bull of a man and the celebrity owner of a high end Miami, seafood restaurant, The Slammin’ Salmon. He generally rules by fear, but on this night he raises his leadership style to a new level. On this particular night, the Champ reveals that he owes money to the Japanese Yakuza and needs to pay up asap. So he institutes a contest to “inspire” his wait staff to sell more food than they ever have: The night’s top selling waiter gets $10,000, the lowest selling waiter gets his head punched in by the Champ.

Behold the Slammin' Salmon
added by newsBotWondering what those wacky lads of Broken Lizard are up to? Wonder no more. Kevin Heffernan, Jay Chandrasekhar, and the rest of the comedy team behind Super Troopers and Beerfest are hard at work putting the finishing touches on their latest ensemble effort, The Slammin' Salmon. The film stars Michael Clarke Duncan as a former heavyweight boxing champ-turned-celebrity restaurateur who concocts a ridiculous scheme to earn enough cash to pay off his debts to Yakuza mobsters. Which comes as a relief to those of us who had assumed the plot centered around a promiscuous fish.
No release date has been announced yet for The Slammin' Salmon as the Lizard men are still looking for a distributor for the film. Let's hope they find one soon. Until then, our good pals at Collider have some pics for ya.

Broken Lizard trailer
added by newsBotI'm not sure what to think about this next Broken Lizard film Slammin' Salmon. Their first film, Supertroopers, was quality but Club Dread was absolutely awful and Beerfest was just Ok (and the less said about Dukes Of Hazzard, the better). Could this be a return to form? Collider has posted a red-band trailer for Salmon and it looks like it's got a few laughs. But can this hold up for an entire movie? The film stars Michael Clark Duncan as a former boxer and current restaurant owner who...
