She's already been married to Vince Vaughn - albeit in a movie - so Malin Akerman knows the actor made the right decision when he wed real estate agent Kyla Weber in real life. "We're all in love with his wife," Vaughn's Couples Retreat costar tells People. "She's an amazing person." Akerman and the rest of the cast, which includes Jason Bateman, Kristen Bell, and Jon Favreau, bonded with Vaughn's future-bride while shooting the romantic comedy in Bora Bora, where many of the cast brought along their families and significant others to what Akerman described as a "big family event. »

As it often does, this week brings a host of new movies and some great classics hitting Blu-ray for the first time. This week’s releases include the first time on Blu-ray The Time Traveller’s Wife, Couple’s Retreat, The Phantom, Bronson, Drop Zone and The Running Man.
There is also the first season of Stargate: Universe,  a couple seasons of Jag, season three of The Guild and the Blu-ray release of The Coen Bros.’  A Serious Man with Michael Stuhlbarg (pictured above).

Analysis: The first Paranormal Activity was a sleeper success that became one of the higher-grossing entries in the popular supernatural horror sub-genre ($107.9 million), and it surged in the weeks leading up to Halloween, goring the seasonal Saw movie in the process. Though Saw VI only grossed $27.7 million, distributor Lionsgate green-lighted Saw VII 3D for the franchise's typical Halloween launch. Then, in a game of chicken, Paramount announced Paranormal Activity 2 for the same Oct. 22 weekend as Saw VII. Paramount even hired Saw VI director Kevin Greutert, but Lionsgate fired back by exercising an option in their contract to have Greutert direct Saw VII, leaving Paranormal 2 without a director at the time of this writing.
