Daredevil

I love the Blu-ray format. I think the crispness in audio/visual quality is a substantial upgrade from regular DVD. As a result, I've become the snobby guy who thumbs his nose at regular releases and go straight for the Blu-ray titles. I'm hooked on the higher quality, and I can't stop myself.
That said, not every film warrants a Hi-Def upgrade. I own at least three different DVDs of "Clerks", one of my favorite comedies (damn you, Kevin Smith and your wicked marketing schemes!) However, unless he throws in a free walk-on role and the final chapter to that unfinished Daredevil comic book miniseries, I'll never buy a Blu-ray of "Clerks." What would be the point? All Hi-Def will do is further expose the technical flaws of one of indie film's biggest hits (something Smith himself told me during a visit to Rt awhile back when I asked him

20th Century Fox recently revealed that they are planning to reboot the "Daredevil" franchise and according to MTV News, none of the actors from the original film will be back. Ben Affleck already stated that he will never play a superhero again and his wife Jennifer Garner now revealed that she had no idea that Fox was even planning to make another "Daredevil" film. In the original, Affleck played the title character, while Garner played Elektra. Fox co-chairman Tom Rothman previously said that the goal with the "Daredevil" reboot is to get real talent behind it. "What it really needs is a visionary at the level of Chris Nolan," said Rothman.
