Youth in Revolt with Michael Cera moves from October to January
added by newsBotMichael Cera’s movie Youth in Revolt has now shifted from opening on October 30, 2009 to January 15, 2010.
The reason? Variety reports a Dimension Films rep said, “Not only will this smart comedy be great counterprogramming to some of the heavier fare at that time of year, but this date will allow the film to play some more festivals and continue to build word of mouth.”

"Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" Enjoys Delicious Box-Office Weekend! See Complete Top 10 List!
added by newsBotMoney fell from the sky for Sony's "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs!" The 3-D animated family comedy debuted at No. 1 with $30.1 million leading this weekend's films.
It was a busy weekend at the movies, and the fun family treat beat Matt Damon, Jennifer Aniston, and Megan Fox at the box-office.
Coming in at No. 2 was Steven Soderbergh's "The Informant!." Matt Damon famously gained 30 lbs to play a bipolar whistle blower and the actor literally disappeared in his role! Phenomenal job!
"The Informant!" made $10.5 million, slightly beating previous weekend's No. 1 film, "I Can Do Bad By Myself." The Tyler Perry film fell down 57% to No. 3 with $10 million.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Aniston's romantic dramedy with Aaron Eckhart called "Love Happens" came in fourth with $8.5 million. Many insiders are saying that viewers are tired of seeing Aniston in romantic comedies. This is another failure for Universal Pictures.
And then, there's "Jennifer's Body. »
