Sicily Visits Venice: Tornatore's Baaria to Open 66th Venice Film Festival

Summit Entertainment holds the international rights to the comedy. Screen Daily reports that the official Venice line-up is expected to be announced on July 30 in Rome. The Venice Film Festival runs from September 2nd to the 12th.
