John C. McGinley is scrubbing into the world of superheroes with "Superman/Batman: Public Enemies," in which he plays the villainous Metallo. Sure, as a live-action performer, he'd be considerably less threatening than Brian Austin Green's take on the character—but getting in the sound booth as a voice actor is part of the fun for McGinley.
"It's a real treat to collaborate with the creative folks once you get in the booth," McGinley said about his experience on the upcoming DC Universe animated film. "Ten out of ten times, the people on the other side of the glass know the character better than you are ever going to—they have been working on this for months or years. All you can do is try to return serve because you are given all this wonderful, precise direction."

With thousands of fans across the country getting to see 16 minutes of James Cameron’s Avatar in select theaters, the studio is still giving the rest of us a peak at this mysterious film. The first teaser trailer went live today, though in French, shows us the world that the Titanic director conjured up.
The film, starring Sam Worthington (Terminator: Salvation), Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, and Stephen Lang (Public Enemies) is a sci-fi adventure about a hero who helps save a civilization, and “embarks on a journey of redemption and discovery” along the way.
Cameron initially had the idea for this film 14 years ago, but the technology wasn’t available for him to produce it properly.
