The first trailer for Joe looked a little too Ott and dare I say, campy? It wasn’t as visually impressive as Transformers 2, but I don’t think any of us outside of hardcore fans are expecting very much at all anyway. The cast list is very attractive, but uneven. Director Stephen Sommers is also uneven (The Mummy, Van Helsing) and reports have been floating on and off for quite a while about script re-writes and adjustments, especially after fans expressed outrage that the film didn’t pegg Joe as an “All American Hero”.
