'Dark Knight' Poster, Ads Win Eight Key Art Awards
added by newsBotThe Dark Knight picked up eight trophies at The Hollywood Reporter Key Art Awards, which shines a light on posters, trailers, commercials, et al. Essentially, if it was made to promote, market, or advertise a movie, it could be in the running for the Key Arts.
Blt & Associates won Best Theatrical poster, Best TV Spot, and Best Action Print (meaning best print ad for an action movie) for The Dark Knight, and Iron Man won Best Trailer. Overall, Blt was the big winner Friday night, with 13 Key Art Awards; the company also worked on campaigns for Iron Man, Kung Fu Panda, and Juno, among its many nominees in theatrical and home entertainment categories.
