Oh My Grey’s: Unhappy Holidays from Seattle Grace!
added by newsBotWatching the docs of Grey's Anatomy navigate the emotional minefield of the winter holiday season probably made some folks at home feel better about their own dysfunctional families. And just in time for Thanksgiving! Thank goodness some lives were saved or all of this week's 'Omg' moments would have been downers. --Carrie Bell Family Time: McSteamy found out he was a father when an 18-year-old girl named Sloan showed up. He let her move in, but didn't know how to relate to her. He felt old and guilty (he'd given a fling who got pregnant $200 and assumed she got an »

Grey's Anatomy Review: Left in a "Holidaze"
added by newsBotGrey's Anatomy attempted to cram all the holidays into one episode last night, and while there were the predictable high points, there was also plenty that fell short.
If you missed any of the drama, here's a recap of "Holidaze." Now, here's a look at what worked and what didn't on Thursday evening, because each is a long list ...
Hits
Kim Raver and Kevin McKidd as Teddy and Owen. While some of their dialogue was schmaltzy, they were believably awkward, conflicted and unsure what to do about their feelings for each other. Sandra Oh's Cristina fits into this story well, too. Derek and Arizona. Their efforts to save the boy and do whatever it takes - at their own expense - pretty much solidified them as the coolest people ever. Bailey and her dad. We have issues with the fact that Bailey's personal life is rarely, if ever discussed, »

Review: Grey's Anatomy - Holidaze
added by newsBot(S06E10) In the last episode of 2009, Grey's Anatomy combines Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years all in one eventful episode. I'm still not in the holiday mood, but the show got me there, except for the fact that they played Christmas music on New Years. Christmas music should stay between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
What happened to Alex in this episode? This would probably be the hardest time for a husband who doesn't have his wife for their first Christmas together. Wasn't he invited to Christmas Dinner? At least Meredith could have mentioned that he was stuck at work?

‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Births ‘On Call’ Companion Web Series
added by newsBotAnother companion web series coming out of a major TV network today as ABC launches its Grey's Anatomy companion Seattle Grace: On Call. It premiered tonight 10:00 Pm Et, immediately following the latest episode of Grey's, which featured promo for the new sidekick. It's a faux documentary, set at Joe's Emerald City Bar where seemingly all of the Seattle Grace surgeons frequent to booze it up and make bad decisions. A handful of the lesser known stars from the TV version will appear in the 4-minute episodes, like Joe the Bartender Steven W. Bailey and Sg interns Brandon Scott and Gloria Garayua. Italian food brand Bertolli signed on as lead sponsor of the series. "Our goal with the Web series is to expand the Grey's universe by offering a unique perspective of the various happenings at Seattle Grace, while paralleling some of the same story lines seen on the show, »

Tonight's 'Grey's Anatomy': Kevin McKidd on good news and bad news for Cristina and Owen fans
added by newsBotGrey's Anatomy fans -- particularly those who love the relationship between Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) as much as I do -- got a little queasy last week with the arrival of Kim Raver's Dr. Teddy Altman. While, of course, we watch the show for the drama, it's hard not to feel protective of a couple that's overcome so much -- his post-traumatic stress disorder from serving in combat, her general prickliness. So it's hard to take kindly to a pretty, talented doctor type who shows up out of nowhere, then becomes Cristina's mentor only to also »

Grey's Anatomy Webisodes Kick Off
added by newsBotBummed that there won't be any new Grey's Anatomy episode until next year? ABC.com will try to have things covered, with Seattle Grace: On Call, a six-part webisode series, each four to five minutes long, plus a special behind-the-scenes episode chronicling the making of Seattle Grace: On Call. The first one aired last night after the Grey's Anatomy broadcast of its last episode for the year.
Sounds nice? You be the judge, but off hand, the webisodes will not feature the main characters of Grey's Anatomy. Set primarily in Joe's Emerald City Bar, the popular hangout spot for the doctors after work, Seattle Grace: On Call is shot like a documentary, following the trials of many of the familiar faces featured on the ABC medical drama.

Joel McHale to Patrick Dempsey: Eat It!
added by newsBotPatrick Dempsey might have a great head of hair, but Joel McHale has a message his fellow TV star:
You don't have Lauren Stamille!
Stamille played Derek's love interest on Grey's Anatomy for a few episodes. But the (Mc)dreamy one eventually chose Meredith over her character, leaving the beautiful actress free to get with McHale's Jeff on Community.
"So eat that, Patrick Dempsey!" McHale said.
In January, Stamille will reprise her role as Michelle, a teacher at Greendale. Turns out, she and Jeff have been secretly sleeping together for awhile.
"There's a strict policy about students dating teachers for legal reasons, as the dean describes it," McHale told E!, adding that Jeff and Michelle will have to report their dalliances after Pierce Tweets about their relationship.
Does this mean Britta is no longer a potential mate? Said McHale:
"Britta is obviously not wanting any part of me, so I »

'Grey's Anatomy' Recap: Working on Hernias on Christmas?
added by newsBotWell so much for non-awkward dinner conversations. Bailey's daddy should meet Callie's daddy. Maybe a few drinks with the Chief?
On tonight's episode of Grey's Anatomy, we found out that: 1. Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) has an 18-year-old long-lost daughter, Little Sloan (guest star Leven Rambin), 2. There's someone who can effectively shut Bailey (Chandra Wilson) up, at least for a while, 3. the Chief (James Pickens, Jr.) has a drinking problem, 4. Owen (Kevin McKidd) had feelings for Teddy (guest star Kim Raver), 5. Izzie (Katherine Heigl) is once again Mia, 6. Bailey played the oboe as a kid, 7. no bonuses for the surgeons! This is an outrage!
