Previously on Beauty and the Geek, nine beauties and nine geeks met for the first time. They found out that they would be competing against each other, and the beauties immediately set about strategizing. Tensions rose between Randi and Amber, and their big, colossal fight sent Jim running to go get some popcorn. In the new elimination room, John E. wasn't quick enough with the buzzer, and he became the first person to be ejected from season 5 of Beauty and the Geek.
Tonight's episode of Beauty and the Geek begins immediately post-elimination. Everyone cheers for the returning geeks. Amber is happy to see Tommy back. She's a little gold-digger in the making—she likes Tom because he's good-looking (and not a real geek, I still maintain) and he'll be rich someday.
