Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke has admitted that Bryce Dallas Howard was the first choice to play villain Victoria in the vampire franchise. The Terminator Salvation star has joined the saga for the third instalment Eclipse after original actress Rachelle Lefevre was forced to drop out over scheduling conflicts.
