Richard Masur's Outsized Performance in 'Dust'
added by newsBotFor the past 35 years, Richard Masur has starred in popular television series (“One Day at a Time,” “Picket Fences”), over 45 television movies (“Fallen Angel,” “The Burning Bed,”) more than fifty films (“Risky Business,” “My Girl,” “Heaven’s Gate”) and a number of Broadway and Off-Broadway productions (Michael Frayne’s Democracy, David Storey’s The Changing Room). Yet, despite a resume the length of a novella, Masur still enjoys a sense of semi-anonymity when he isn’t performing. People quite often mistake him for a high school friend, or “that guy from that show.” With the opening of Bill Goda’s new Broadway thriller "Dust," however, Masur’s intense performance is likely to be nothing short of the talk of the town.
