Woody Harrelson Almost Passed on Zombieland

Sure, there are the prerequisite scenes of grotesque, slow-motion cannibalism that zombie films are known for, but there are also many poignant scenes between the misfit cast of characters.
Now that the film is a proven success, with a sequel on the way, it seems like a no-brainer (zombie pun intended) for actor Woody Harrelson to view Zombieland as a vehicle for connecting with a whole new audience of young movie fans. But, Harrelson confesses, he did not feel that way when he was first approached with the project.
The one genre I don't watch is horror. I get nightmares. For some reason, it really scares me.
