added by newsBotSources at Alec Baldwin's apartment building on Central Park West in Manhattan confirmed to People on Thursday that the 30 Rock star was taken by ambulance from his residence during the night, while a source close to the actor insists there were no drugs or alcohol involved. News reports earlier in the day said Baldwin, 51, was found by a relative and was unresponsive, prompting a call to 911. Police and paramedics reportedly arrived on the scene, and Baldwin ended up in Lenox Hill Hospital, where he was examined and remained for an hour before being released. "This was a misunderstanding on one person's part, »

'30 Rock': Soon-to-be Jon Hammier, again!
added by newsBotJon Hamm will return to 30 Rock to reprise his role as lovably oblivious pretty person Dr. Baird on Feb. 11! This obviously deserves its own post, and not just a tragically unillustrated bullet point in the Mixed-Up TCA Press Tour Files of Mr. Michael E. Ausiello (I doubt his middle name starts with E; I just like thinking about this book). What does it all mean?! Will Liz Lemon give the guy with a face for Disney animation a second chance? I don't see this as a revenge plot, considering that when the good doctor last rolled out of frame, it »

30 Rock's Jane Krakowski Is Tying the Knot
added by newsBotNo dealbreakers here! 30 Rock's Jenna Maroney might be unlucky in love, but the fabulous Jane Krakowski just got a big ol' rock to call her own. The funnylady and clothing-designer boyfriend Robert Godley have gotten engaged, Jane's rep confirms to E! News. The cute couple have been together for a little more than a year. And not a moment too soon. When the show returns in January, Jenna will be rubbing elbows with studly movie star James Franco. (It's just a fauxmance, but we'll take it!) Needless to say, congrats are in order to the happy couple. »

Don't Look Now, But 30 Rock Could Actually Lose An Award! (We Know, Crazy)
added by newsBotFor two years running now, Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin and 30 Rock have swept nearly all the major categories at the Golden Globes and Emmy Awards, but that may be about to change, my friends. See, it's actually a stellar year for freshman TV comedy, which is why I didn't mind getting up bright dark and early at 2 a.m. for our live E! coverage of the 2010 Golden Globe nominations this morning. Because along with the usual nods for the still-deserving 30 Rock clan, we also saw nominations for newcomers we love, like Glee (four nominations, and that's more than 30 Rock!), Modern Family, Toni Collette (United States of Tara) and Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie). [It also didn't hurt that John Krasinski was in the …

Writers Guild Sings Praises of Glee, Modern Family and All the Other Usual Suspects
added by newsBotWhy let the movie biz hog all the glory? Smack in the middle of the self-congratulatory lovefest that is awards season, Hollywood's word-processing set has released its own would-be honorees, announcing the TV nominees for the 2010 Writers Guild of America Awards. While the usual suspect contenders—Lost, House, 30 Rock, Mad Men, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Dexter and The Office—all once again scored nominations, the networks that risked taking their programming in some New Directions (yeah, we said it) did not go unrewarded. ABC's Modern Family and Fox's Glee both scored multiple nods in their freshman year, not only as Best New Series but with a pair of nominations for top Comedy... »

30 Rock Actor Awaiting Crucial Kidney Transplant
added by newsBotIt's hard to believe, but one thing on 30 Rock is not funny. Actor Grizzwald "Grizz" Chapman, who plays one half of Tracy Morgan's security detail on the NBC comedy, is facing kidney disease that's no laughing matter. The 35-year-old star appears on Tuesday's episode of The Dr. Oz Show, where he tells Dr. Mehmet Oz of his struggles. The 6-foot-11, 378-pound actor is on dialysis three times a week for severe hypertension, the New York Daily News reports. He's currently on the waiting list for a kidney transplant, but has to lose 75 pounds before he can even be considered a candidate. Regardless of his weight loss, though, that waiting list is nearly five years... »

Is Julianne Moore Coming to 30 Rock?
added by newsBotCheck out the photo above for what may be a huge 30 Rock spoiler! Nothing is confirmed, but Alec Baldwin recently talked to my fellow E! News correspondent Ashlan Gorse on the red carpet at an Elle event, and revealed that he is getting a new love interest later this season. Baldwin, who was just announced as cohost of this year's Oscars with Steve Martin, wouldn't name names, but he did give us a hint: "I won't say who it is, but someone very near to us who may be coming on to play my girlfriend for four episodes." Well, we tallied up all the attractive ladies in the vicinity of Alec on the red carpet—contenders included Renée Zellweger, Becki Newton, Emily Blunt, Diane... »

Exclusive: James Franco heads to '30 Rock'
added by newsBotReady for the latest twist in the incredibly wild and unpredictable career of one James Franco? Sources confirm to me exclusively that the movie-star actor will follow up his upcoming arc on General Hospital with a guest appearance on 30 Rock. NBC declined to comment, but a Rock solid insider tells me that Franco (playing himself) will be involved in a faux romance with Jane Krakowski's Jenna — a relationship arranged by their respective agents. Sound familiar? It's probably because this is the storyline Tina Fey floated by me at the Emmys way back in September. " into a high-profile relationship with »
