The WB Tries To Make A Comeback

Some of you have repeatedly said in commentary or email communications with me that you’re tired of network TV and it just doesn’t appeal to you. I don’t blame you.
As of August 27th, The WB is trying to give you more options beside advertiser controlled TV.
TheWB.com website is officially launching on the 27th of August. From the offered line up of web-casts, The WB is looking like it’s hoping to snag the viewers who used to watch The WB network on TV before it got absorbed into The CW because some of the offerings are old familiar, popular shows.
So I went over to the TheWB.com Beta site to check it out. The Beta wants me to sign up before accessing anything. I usually don’t like signing up before looking, but for you guys, I dove right in.

Sample 'Legend of the Seeker' for Free
added by newsBotLegend of the Seeker debuts on Saturday as a first-run syndicated series. To let people sample the series, an extended preview is available as a free download at Apple’s iTunes store. Legend of the Seeker: A First Look is actually the first 30 minutes of the two-hour first episode.
The series is from executive producers Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert, who gained fame for their work on Hercules and Xena.
"Fans have been clamoring to get a first look at the series and based on the early response from the clips released on the Legend of the Seeker website, we knew this would be a huge success with audiences," Janice Marinelli, President, Disney-abc Domestic Television said in a release.
Craig Horner (Blue Water High) and Bridget Regan (The Black Donnellys) star in the series originally entitled Wizard’s First Rule. The 22 episodes are being shot in New Zealand. Horner is Richard Cypher,
