We all knew she wasn’t going to die, which made her collapse at Justin and Rebecca’s wedding a bit of an eye roll and the month wait for the big reveal — it was just a blood clot in her lung — all the more anticlimactic. But even when the plot of this soap is paint-by-numbers, the acting is still masterful. So we'd accept any excuse that forced Kitty into the hospital, where she had to come clean to the family about her cancer not responding to chemo. From the »

Rob Lowe Considering Politics Thanks to 'Brothers and Sisters'
added by newsBotPlaying Republican Senator Robert McAllister for four seasons on Brothers and Sisters must have had quite an effect on actor Rob Lowe. It's obvious he truly enjoys portraying that character of his on TV, but is it really a surprise that that might take over his career?
Lowe told The Press Association that he hasn't quite ruled out the option of going into politics. Apparently, it's not just the role that's driven him to think about working in that field; he just really likes the whole environment and the challenges it brings.

Scoop: 'Brothers & Sisters' gets a new boss

An ABC spokesperson is confirming that Monica Breen and Alison Schapker are out as showrunners and longtime B&S scribe David Marshall Grant is in. The ABC rep adds that Breen and Schapker continue to serve as executive producers/writers on the show but are now "concentrating more on development." Note to self: Do some digging.
