The team re-opens the 2000 case of a prominent Puerto Rican assistant district attorney when rumors about his connection to a large amount of money gone missing at the time of his death start to circulate. However, his widow insists that the claims are not true. The re-investigation reveals that the victim was prosecuting a murder trial and the man convicted for the crime after his death may possibly be innocent.

Jason Lee has signed on as the lead for a George Clooney-produced pilot for TNT. “Delta Blues” will star Lee as a Memphis cop who lives with his mother and moonlights as an Elvis impersonator. The hourlong project is being produced by Clooney, Grant Heslov’s Smokehouse Pictures and Warner Horizon Television. “Cold Case” staffer Liz M. Jason Lee Returns to TV in a New Pilot from TNT
added by newsBotTNT announced today that Jason Lee will be taking on the starring role in a new TNT pilot called Delta Blues. The new series is described as an offbeat drama about Dwight Hendricks, a Memphis police office who lives with his mother and moonlights as an Elvis impersonator.
Jason Lee is returning to the small screen after his four season stint as Earl Hickey in the NBC comedy My Name Is Earl, which was just canceled this past fall.
