New TV on DVD releases this week
added by newsBotHere are the new TV DVDs, in stores tomorrow.
I'm always amazed at how many seasons Jag lasted. It started on NBC in 1995 then went to CBS, and I really thought it was the type of show that wouldn't last beyond three seasons, but it lasted ten! But that still leaves doubt as to whether Williamson---who's had renewed Dawson's Creek-like success with the CW's Vampire Diaries---still possesses an irreverent sensibility to update the franchise for a contemporary world of tailspin pop culture and younger, »

added by newsBotEmmy Award winner Doris Roberts is playing her own kind of magical nanny in "Debbie Macomber's Mrs. Miracle." Part of the Hallmark Channel's Holiday Countdown, "Debbie Macomber's Mrs. Miracle," also stars James Van Der Beek, formerly of "Dawson's Creek."
In the acclaimed holiday story, Van Der Beek plays Seth, a widowed father to six-year-old twins who gets a new housekeeper in Mrs. Emily Merkle (Roberts). Between her magical touch at cleaning and even advice on love and life, its soon clear to both Seth and his kids that Merkle is no ordinary housekeeper and she's really "Mrs. Miracle."
"Mrs. Miracle" is based on the best-selling book from author Debbie Macomber, who also wrote this year's "A Perfect Christmas." The movie joins the line-up of new holiday original movies set to premiere on the Hallmark Channel, including "Christmas in Canaan" with Billy Ray Cyrus and "The Three Gifts" with Dean Cain. »
