Lance Bass is among this year's honorees
Power Up is a non-profit production company that develops and distributes Lgbt films and that each year since 2001 has honored 10 Amazing Women in Showbiz to promote lesbian filmmakers and projects.
This year the group has opened their kudos up to men, and have announced their first honorees for the 10 Amazing Gay Men in Showbiz, who will be honored along with the ladies in November.

Answer: Achy Obejas's 1996 award-winning novel Memory Mambo, about Juani Casas, a Cuban-born American lesbian, was a big hit (read our review here) and definitely begged for a follow-up. We sent your question to Brenda Knight, the associate publisher at Cleis Press, and she told us, "We do not have any plans for a sequel."
