You think American Idol fans don't know the drill? Last night's results show grew by about 4 million viewers from its first half-hour to its exciting Michael Sarver-eliminating conclusion. Overall, Idol averaged 22.4 million, up about 1 million from last week. Elsewhere: • CSI, Survivor and Eleventh Hour were off again, due to college basketball; most everything else was on. And up from last week. • Grey's Anatomy (15.8 million) and Private Practice (10.5 million) had big nights. • Hell's Kitchen (10.9 million) hit an Idol-assisted season high.  • If ER (10.2 million) were always this healthy, it might not be about to fade to...

"Eleventh Hour", the CBS crime drama, is close to wrapping up its first season. On April 2, the series will wind down with the episode called "Medea" which preview is available.
A high level FBI agent is accused of stealing a woman's child and Dr. Hood is the only one who believes it. Helen Slater ("Smallville", "Supernatural") guest stars.
Run at 10/9c, "Eleventh Hour" will face a stiff competition from "ER" which is also having a finale on the same time slot on NBC. In the past few weeks, "Eleventh" have ruled the Thursdays 10/9c ratings, on top of "ER" but the medical drama is having its show finale after 15 years of airing on TV.
Also, there has been no word yet on whether "Eleventh Hour" will be ordered for a second season.

Survivor returned with a season-low 11.2 million total viewers, thanks in part to NBC's ER retrospective, which drew 10.56 mil. Bones placed third with 9 mil, a dip of 570K from its previous outing. 
ABC's comedies were not laughing, as both In the Motherhood (5 mil) and Samantha Who? (4.8 mil) plunged 26 percent. Smallville (3.8 mil) saw a 50K uptick.

ER's two-hour (and rather awesome) series finale was the night's most-watched program, averaging 16.2 million viewers and even flirting with 18 mil at the 10 0'clock mark. That tally represents the largest audience for the final episode of a drama series since Murder, She Wrote circa 1996. (Be sure to check out Trish's fantastic recap of the ER ender.) CSI's William Friedkin-directed 200th episode placed second at 9 pm, drawing a season low of 14.38 mil. Facing stiff competition, Hell's Kitchen (7 mil) saw one-third of its audience get flambéed.
