With J.J. Abrams' Star Trek arriving on DVD and Blu-ray this week, the actors and creators hit the red carpet to celebrate the release. One of the people we got a chance to chat with was Leonard Nimoy, who, of course, plays Spock Prime in the film. The actor told us he was excited to appear in this new incarnation of the franchise, but doubts he will return for a sequel.
"I am very happy with the direction J.J. took this particular film. He has a great cast, and he's in great shape. I was fortunate enough to work with an exceptional group of actors, and the fans really seemed to enjoy the film." He continued by telling us, "I don't think there is room for me to return in a sequel. I don't think they need me. I am happy to see Zachary continue on with the role. »

A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to visit the set of Fringe and talk to the four principle actors. We toured the set, talked the actors, ate their food and generally had a blast. My first interview of the series was with lead actress Anna Torv. Torv was convinced that she had met me previously although I assured her this was the first time. After a bit of memory searching, she decided I looked exactly like her morning barista. Although that's the second time in my life someone was convinced I was someone else, I think the mishap helped to loosen us up for the interview.
And I had a lot to talk to Anna Torv about. Olivia has been set up to be the heroine of this war between universes and yet, we don't get see much of that right now. "I feel like Olivia hasn't been activated, »

Fringe fans might wanna set their DVR for "Save Until I Delete" status for the December 10 episode.
That will most likely mark Leonard Nimoy's final appearance on the Fox hit, as he told TV Guide Magazine this week:
“I agreed to do three episodes; and we’ve filmed all three. Two have aired, so I will be on the air in one more. And that’s the extent of my commitment.”

Nimoy last appeared as Dr. William Bell on the show's October 8 installment, popping up in a flashback scene that further explored Olivia's alternate reality.
He'll show up again on the episode "Grey Matters," as the series flashes back again, but to a different setting. »
