In an effort to breathe new life into the show, the network decided that they needed to get back to what made the original .Knight Rider. series work: the idea that one man could make a difference. Well, one man and his car. That's not new ... but it's still debatable on if NBC is going to even give the show a chance. Though the show was just picked up for a full 22-episode season in October, it only took until November for NBC to see that the show wasn.t working out as well as expected.
