added by newsBotLess than a month ago, Chuck, the light, charming, fun little show about a geek who saves the world every week, was destined for cancellation. But today, NBC announced that the exploits of Chuck, Sarah and Casey will continue after all as the network ordered a third season of 13 episodes.
The show, which I think is better than anything else NBC has on the air, including Heroes, won’t be returning until after the Winter Olympics, though, so you’ll have to wait until March 2010 to get your next fix of Chuck and crew.
What isn’t clear is how important a new sponsorship deal with Subway Restaurants was to the show’s renewal. In a press release, Ben Silverman, co-chair of NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios said that, “By involving Subway early in the process, we were able to bring a quality show like Chuck back to NBC for next season.

Brooke Shields Wishes She Had Lost Her Virginity Earlier In Life
added by newsBotBrooke Shields wishes she'd had sex sooner. The former "Lipstick Jungle" beauty - who became famous aged 12 playing a prostitute in the movie "Pretty Baby" - says her biggest regret in life was not losing her virginity until she was in her 20s.
She said: "I think I would have lost my virginity earlier than I did at the age of 22. I had the public and all this pressure, and I wish I had just gotten it over with in the beginning when it was sort of Ok."
The twice-married actress - who raises two children with husband Chris Henchy - also wishes she had been more confident with her body when she was growing up.
She added to America's Health magazine: "I think I would have been much more in touch with myself."
