Weekend Recap - Horror, Horror, 'Hobbit,' 'Hornet'
added by newsBotYeah, the big story this weekend was the box office, and that's rare for the weeks surrounding Labor Day. Usually, the studios are spent by this point of the summer. Labor Day they do next to nothing, and the week after that, all of their efforts are focused on the Toronto Film Festival. But this year is different, as evidenced by the two horror franchises battling it out for the top spot this weekend.
