Magnus and her team have to face the possibility of international biological warfare when a virus infects the abnormals, causing them to attack humans. John Druitt makes an unwelcome return to the Sanctuary as, he too, sees the significance of the situation and he tells them the Cabal are behind it. The leader of the UK sanctuary, Sir James Watson, contacts Helen and confirms John's story about the Cabal, meaning she has to work fast.

'Stargate: Atlantis' Ends With Strong Ratings

'Stargate' Roars at Canada's Leo Awards

That would be Stargate, which is due for its own sort of makeover later this year with the premiere of Stargate Universe. This is no sign that the concept is struggling, though. Indeed, the slew of awards that Stargate productions won at the recent Leo Awards in Vancouver, British Columbia (the home base of CinemaSpy) shows that it continues to be admired.
The Leo Awards are presented by the Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Foundation of B.C.. Guest Stars Announced for 'Stargate Universe'
added by newsBotSci Fi Channel has rounded out its cast of the drama-adventure series, Sgu: Stargate Universe, with an array of celebrity guest stars, set to make appearances throughout the season including, Richard Dean Anderson, Christopher McDonald, Grammy nominated recording artist, Janelle Mone, Amanda Tapping, Michael Shanks, Gary Jones and Carlo Rota.
The new original one-hour series stars Robert Carlyle, Lou Diamond Phillips and Ming-Na. Produced by MGM Television, the series is currently in production in Vancouver and is set to premiere on Sci Fi in October 2009 with a special two-hour episode.
Edgier and younger in tone, Sgu will take the franchise in a dynamic new direction, appealing to longtime 'Stargate' fans and first-time viewers alike. The two-part premiere of Universe is being directed by Andy Mikita (Stargate Atlantis, Stargate Sg-1) and lensed by Rohn Schmidt (The Shield, The Mist).
