Chace Crawford and John Krasinski Among 'Captain America' Candidates

After Chris Pine was said to have been offered the part, it is "Gossip Girl" actor Chace Crawford and "The Office" star John Krasinski who are rumored being wanted by Marvel Studios to be the superhero, so Deadline Hollywood mentions.
The two still have to compete with other stars as Scott Porter of "Friday Night Lights", Mike Vogel of "Cloverfield" and Michael Cassidy of "Smallville" allegedly have also agreed to test deals with director Joe Johnston and the studio. Additionally, Garrett Hedlund of "Tron Legacy" is being considered to take the role but he has not made a test deal. Whoever being chosen to play Captain America, Deadline further reported, must sign for nine other options, including potential sequels to upcoming film.

Hamilton's Jones Leads ABC Primetime PIlot
