"Call it a crisis of leadership." - Proposition JoeBrother Mouzone returns to Baltimore on a mission of revenge and casts a wide net in his search for Omar, who has his own plan for vengeance. Colvin manages, for now, to put off a Sun reporter inquiring about Amsterdam, while Burrell delivers news to City Hall, and the reaction is surprisingly mixed. Carver learns how much he doesn't know about good policing, while Pearlman and Daniels plead their case for a new kind of wiretap to Judge Daniel Phelan. Carcetti is about to launch his campaign, but struggles with its effect on his friendship with Council colleague Tony Gray. Stringer falls out of the loop with Avon and is given an ultimatum by Prop Joe and New Day Co-op crews. Cutty's initial approach to teaching boxing ends up alienating the corner boys, while Marlo raises the stakes against the Barksdale gang. Bubbles provides entree to Freamon in an undercover cell-phone hustle.

Thor’s Hammer Strikes another Talented Actor as Idris Elba Comes on Board
added by newsBotIf you’ve seen The Wire, you know that Idris Elba is a ridiculously talented actor who has yet to become a massive success stateside. But now that’s just a matter of time as he already appeared last season on The Office (which didn’t really utilize his talent but a lot of folks watch it, myself included), will appear next year in the comic book action flick The Losers and now he’s landed a role in Kenneth Branagh’s upcoming adaptation of Marvel’s Thor.

Idris Elba Joins the Cast of Thor

Recently we reported on the casting of The Warriors Three, and tonight we've learned that Idris Elba (The Wire's Stringer Bell, RocknRolla) has joined the cast as Heimdell, "the guardian of Asgard, he stands on the BiFrost Bridge ready to defend the city from intruders." I suppose we shouldn't be surprised by this torrent of casting news since the film starts shooting in January. The rest of the cast includes Chris Hemsworth (as Thor), Anthony Hopkins (Odin), and Natalie Portman. And let's not forget the recently cast Warriors Three, Ray Stevenson, Tadanobu Asano, and Stuart Townsend. The plot, as we've reported before: The movie’s story sees the god of thunder Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions re-ignite an ancient war. As punishment, Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans. »
