added by newsBot12.00 Normal 0 false false false En-us X-none X-none MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 When I was the Saturday morning cartoon watching age the big attractions were the animated series of Spider-man, X-men and Batman. These were all classics. Of these three I still hold Batman: The Animated Series above for having writing that elevated it from mere children's programming to good, smart entertainment. I still watch the show on DVD to this day. By the time Batman Beyond rolled around I was long gone from the Saturday morning phase and probably saw one or two episodes at most. It was good, but nothing I was willing to plant myself down for on a regular basis.
A few years later I tuned back in to see what kids were watching on Saturday mornings and I came across The Zeta Project. At the time I was turned off by the sappy writing and "fluffy" animation style. The

[DVD Review] Tiny Toon Adventures: Season 1: Volume 2
added by newsBotLike many things in life (and perhaps even more in entertainment), Tiny Toon Adventures can only be fully understood when considered with what came before and after it. For example, how much more irritating were the Ewoks when you realized that they were paving the way for Jar Jar Binks? Can you watch Jack Nicholson’s original interpretation of the Joker without thinking of Heath Ledger’s more recent portrayal? All the same, Tiny Toons can really only be seen in retrospect as the link between the Muppet Babies of the late 1980s and the subsequent, far more engaging Animaniacs, which premiered in 1993. It should be evaluated on its own terms, but it can’t really be thought of or remembered any other way.
Tiny Toon Adventures takes place (for the most part) at Acme Looniversity, where younger counterparts of nearly all of the original Looney Tunes characters learn how
